Juice hurriedly finished cleaning and checked on Lettie. Tig was due any minute with Dita. Things were tough, but he was sticking it out. He hung new pctures of the baby, bought all her favorite foods, and made sure everything was in order. He was ready.

Dita was silent during the car ride. She was still having a hard time with her anxiety and letting people touch her or being able to talk to anyone. Once they were at her house, Tig helped her inside, knowing she was having trouble using the crutches and carried her bags in. Once she was settled, Tig went over to Juice, "Call me for anything. Gemma is wanting to have a welcome home dinner for Dee soon...just a heads up."

Juice sighed heavily, "Doesn't Gemma know how hard this is for her without a huge group of people?"

He moved the bags to their bedroom and tried to make sure she was comfortable.
"Need anything?"

Juice wished he knew how to help her. He wasn't used to feeling helpless. He went back to their room and grabbed Oscar and his laptop. He left Oscar on a small table beside Dita, then he sat in his chair and started aimlessly surfing the web.

Dita looked around the room some, "D-did he hurt...did he...Archie? Meeko?"

"No, babe," he felt like an idiot for not having let them back inside, "They are just in the back yard, I'll go get them."

He got up and hurriedly let the boys back in the house. He watched as they sniffed the air and excitedly rand to Dita.

Dita jumped a little at the sudden movement of the dogs; clearly nervous. She finally recooped and started to pet both dogs.

He got on his hands and knees and slowly crawled over to her.

She looked up at him; her eyes still lacking the sparkle they once had, "No. Stop apologizing...this is something you shouldn't 'just get used to'." She looked back down, shaking her head in disgust with herself.

He slowly grabbed her hand, "Do you think Corrie is a.freak? The only man who can touch her is Ope. Would you tell her she's a freak? I don't think you would. You've been through a horrible thimg.
