Dita looked at him with surprise, "Okay...but why? You don't think I'm..." She couldn't bear saying the word.

Alarm shot across his face; he didn't want her to think that.

"No, god no. We've just been through so much. I want to show th world we are still here, still strong, still completely in love."

He didn't know why he was always so shocked when she agreed to thing he asked for. Love burned through him. Gently, he pulled her to him and placed kisses along her neck and jaw. God he'd missed her the few days she was in the hospital.

About a month later, things were finally getting back to normal. It was Juice's first day back, he was a nervous wreck. All he kept seeing in his head as he got ready that morning was his wife unresponsive on the floor. He let out a shaky breath as he picked up his lunchbox.

Dita saw how tense he was and gently rubbed his neck, "Mom and sisters are coming over at nine to help with the babies and to go over the ceremony. Everything will be fine."

A tear slid down his cheek and he wiped at it angrily, "Ugh, I know, I just can't stop seeing it."

He hugged her tight and went off to work.

Dita's day went without interruption. She enjoyed her visit with her mom and Juice's sisters and even got some stuff done. Trini, Tate, and Thomas were fed and sound asleep by 8 and the house was quiet. Dita settled down in her favorite chair to knit.

Unable to shake the bad feeling in his gut all day, Juice rushed home. Tearing through the house, searching for Dee, he finally found her in her favorite chair beside the fire. She was knitting what looked like a hat for Corrie's still bald head. He let out a breath when he saw her.

"How was your day?"

He collapsed on the floor at her feet and laid his head in her lap. When would he stop worrying?

"I was just so worried," he spoke into her leg.

Dita took his left hand and pressed it to her heart, "Feel that? I'm still here. I'm not leaving. Look at my mom...J, I'm not made of glass."

He kissed the light pink scar on her chest. He cuddled up to her and didn't move.

Dita leaned down and kissed his head, taking in the scent of his Crew shampoo.

He stood and scooped Dita up and laid her on the floor by the fire. The glow of the flames brought out the gold flecks in her eyes. Roughly he kissed her, pulling het hair.

Dita unbuttoned his uniform shirt before hissing at his tugging. Her hands explored the terrain of his chest before she untied the silk robe she was wearing.
