Dita nodded slowly, scared to see that look in her sister's eyes. "I'll call her now." She stepped out of the room to get some air as she called, the sight of her sister's reactions made her feel sick.

Corrie grabbed Tig's hand and looked up at him, "You have to let me go, Da. I should have died. I shouldn't be here."

Then she let go of his hand and buried her face in Opie's chest.

Opie shook his head, "I just....I just thought I was not good for her...I was trying to give her space.

Tig put a hand on Opoe's distraught fave remebering what he'd been through, "Ope she's no good for herself."

Tara marched in just as Corrie vomited again.

Opie shook his head, "Don't talk about her like that, Tig."

He leaned down and kissed her forehead before Tara ordered them out into the hall.

After about haf an hour Tara came back out,"I think she has gotten most of the pills out. She's lethargic and won't talk to me at all. I have to get her some meds. You're job, tig, go through the house get all the pills that don't have to do with her heart. Dita I want you to come with me. Opie do NOT leave her alone. Dress her, get her in bed and stay there with her because this isn't over. With all she's been through it amazing she hasn't broke down before now."

Tara took Dita and walked out.

Tig looked at Opie, " need help moving her?"

Opie shook his head, "I got this." Gently, he picked Corrie up and carried her to their bedroom. He quickly got her dressed in warm clothes before lying down next to her, gently stroking her hair, "I'm sorry Corr...I let you down."

She heard Opie, but stred blankly ahead.
"You'll take care of my Aisling when I'm gone?"

She shook her head, "No you don't. All I am capable of is hurting people."

She looked at hime with her dead eyes.

"I don't want to hurt Aisling."

Opie rolled onto his back, grabbing her arms, "No!"

She sighed and laid back on the pillows. Defeated.
"Why won't you let me go," she started crying, "Opie I hate how I am. Please."
She grabbed his hands and placed the around her own throat, trying to make a point.

Opie cried out, "Because I love you! Because having one more death on my hands will be far too much!"

Flinching from his shouting she rolled towards him.
"I want my daughter."

Her heart broke. She genuinely wanted her daughter.

Just then, Tara enter the room slowly making her way towards her,"I need you to take these, Corrie."

Corrie saw Dita's face as she stood behind Tara and saw the horror there. It made her cooporate and take the pills. Slowly she tuened to Opie and tucked herself against his chest, silently letting tears fall as she let one hand stroke his beard.

Opie wanted to ask Tara what exactly she gave Corrie, but decided to let it drop. Dita sat next to her sister and gently stroked her hair. She sang Tula Lura Lura softly to her like she used to when she first came to live with her family. She knew the song comforted Corrie even on her darkest days.

Corrie drifted to sleep. The nightmare started. She grasped Opie's shirt and sobned in her sleep.

Opie held her close, rubbing her bad softly. He looked at Tara, "What's the plan?"

"For now, keep hee slightly sedated and force her to take the antidepressant I just gave her," she handed Opie the bottle, "she has had a serious eposode, Ope. If I were you I wouldn't let her be alone or be with the baby alone for a couple of months at least."

She watched as Tig sat beside.Corrie in the bed and held her.

After everyone but Opie had left Corrie woke up with her mouth terribly dry and her mind lost in a fog. Flopping Opie's arms off her she ventured downstairs for a glass of juice. She poured it, rubbed at her neck because her throat was sore, and went to her chair by the fireplace to drink it in peace. She was hurting so much she just wanted to be alone.
