Chibs frowned, looking away, "You know exactly what is bothering me."

She cupped his face, barely thinking about her actions, "Why me?"

She held his face perilously close to her's.

Chibs pulled away, distancing himself across the room, "No one has an answer to love or adoration, lass. If they did there would be no complications. All I know is I wanted you from the day I saw you...you were my version of a fresh spring day.

"I'm sorry, " she crossed to him and held his large hands, "I wish I'd known, but I love Opie. I'll always harbor a love for you, Chibs, but because of what you did I'll never know if it was real."

She looked up into his eyes and, as though she had no control, she gently placed her lips on his.

Chibs could no longer fight the urge; biting down on the tip of his tongue, he fought for access as he forcefully kissed her.

She wasn't prepared for the forceful way he returned the kiss, but when she tasted his blood she nearly lost control. Holding him against the wall she bit the crook of his neck. The tiny bit of blood from his tongue was enough to send her over the edge. It was like giving crack to an addict. As soon as she realized what she'd done she ran back towards the house.
At the spiket in the back yard, she washed her face, hands shaking.

Opie had saw everything; Chibs was sure of that. Opie, enraged and hurt, started getting his things together.

Realizing what had happened she rushed inside to him.
"Opie, I'm sorry. Please, I didn't mean it," she hugged her arms.

Opie shook his head, gently pushing her away, "I need to clear my head...just for a little while."

Nodding, she sat and cried as she watched him pack. For an hour after he left, she sat silently staring ahead. Her mind reeled from the pain and an unknown part of her cried out over both the bond she shared qith Opie and the bond she shared with Chibs. She didn't care who showed but the despair was nearly killing her.

Opie tossed his stuff down on the bed of his old dorm; locking the door behind him so no one could see his red tears. He felt betrayed and hurt; not wanting to carry on with his life.

A week had passed and Corrie had not yet moved from the chair. She hadn't eaten or slept or even bathed. She'd stopped calling to Opie over their bond, finally giving up. As a type of punishment, she let her empty, soul-crushing, sadness ring clear through her bond with Chibs.

Dita was worried to pieces about her sister and despite her pregnant state, she went over to check on her, frowning at the state she was in. She could kill Chibs for this and despite Juice's pleas, she was actually considering it. She knelt at her sister's side, taking her hand, "Oh Cor..."

Corrie hadn't eaten in days, despite the sunlight, she yanked her hand from her sister.
"You can't be here, I haven't fed."
She took offtowards Chibs' safe house. When she entered she went straight to the room in the basement, slamming the silver lined door with her powers.

Chibs came by a few hours later, entering the room, "I can't watch you do this to ya self, lass."

She stared.up at him. The need.to be near someone who cared about her was overwhelming. Instead of moving towards him, she.warapped her arms around her.legs and looked away.
"I deserve this."

Chins shook his head, "I'll talk to him; make it right."

She clutched Chibs, "No. I've done enough to him, just leave me be here, in this room. If he wants me, he can find me."

The look on her face was crazy, she was sure, but she couldn't face Opie right now.

"You can't hide away forever, lass...life doesn't work that way."

Resting her head again Chibs' chest she started crying, "Please. I can't. He's walked out on me before, but this time it was my fault. I'm tired of everything being my fault, " she clung to his shirt, "I need time."

Chibs sighed, "As you wish."

Desperate, she hugged him. There were lines that she would ever cross with him again, but his closeness comforted her. The cadence of his voice was like a lullaby. Entwining one of her little hands in his, she closed her eyes and slept.

Chibs tried throughout the night to find Opie, but to no avail. Opie had blocked him out completely; not even giving the slightest hint to where he could be found.

Corrie refused to leave the room. At some point in the night she had scooted to the silver lined door and began pressing parts of her bare flesh to the door. She felt none of it.

Opie couldn't stay away for long, despite all his hurt. He knew he needed to go back. He came to the safe house; knocking on the door of the room he knew Corrie was in, "Corrie?"
