Everlasting D/J AU

Juice sulked in his dorm, even though Opie had joined their ranks he was still bitter. How could Chibs have done this to him? The minute he woke on the ground under that damn tree he had wanted to climb right back up it, little did he know it was too late for that. Deciding he had been alone long enough, he made his way out into the club house.

He watched Dee as she worked on a tattoo for Happy. She had become quite the staple around the club house along with her older sister Corrie; the two orphaned rich girls with the matching tattoos. The way her long shirt swayed at the top of her thighs, which were barely covered by holey leggings, drove him mad. They flitered and exchanged banter, but that had been it so far.

The predator in him followed dee with his eyes, wait, watching, hoping to devour her whole.

Dee could feel his eyes on her and it made her nervous to some degree. She hadn't carried many conversations with Juice. He seemed so lost in his thoughts. When they did talk though, Dee was taken aback by their common interests. He was witty, boyish at times, and a nice change from the punks she typically dated. He made her smile and laugh...not very easy for anyone to do.

She finished up the tattoo on Happy and was relieved when he gave it the thumbs up. She collected his money and then went over to the bar to get her usual: sprite and OJ. She wasn't a big drinker. Sucking on strawberries between sips, she idly swayed some to the music playing as she flipped through a catalog. She was hoping her presence would get Juice the balls to talk to her.

The way the strawberries stained her full lips was enough to lure him over to the bar. Before he even got close he could smell her, vanilla. Making his way to the spot beside her he put a smile on his face and looked at her.

"Hey, Dee."

Dita smiled shyly, "Hey yourself, Ortiz." She looked over at him, momentarily taken aback by his dark eyes and overall hotness, "Surprised to see you in here...normally you are too preoccupied with your bike."

Little did she know that he buried himself in his bike because all the blood around him drove him to distraction. The same reason Opie drank. His devilish smile lit up his face.

"How could I miss the hottest girl in Charming being here for my bike?"

Dita smirked, and took a sip of her drink, "You are so full of it."

Unable to stop himself, he leaned in close to her neck and inhaled deeply. The scent of her blood both excruciating and sweet. Running his nose along her shocked jawline andtucked her hair behind her ear.

"Oh, you have no idea."

Dee stood there like a deer in headlights before pulling away slightly to get another strawberry, trying to maintain her composure.. She let out a light laugh, "You are a tease."

And just like that, it was like the hunt was on. He grabbed her waist and yanked her to him. Briefly looking in her eyes, he kissed her full on the mouth. Pulling away, he whispered in her ear,"I don't tease, Dee, I make promises."


He turned around and walked to his dorm, smiling all the way.

Dita regained some of her composure, going after him. She barged into his dorm, pulled him to her and gave him a long, intense kiss.

It had been so long since he'd fed he could taste the blood in her mouth. Growling into her he lifted her, wrapping her legs around his waist and shut the door. his control had gone out the window long before this moment. Backing her up against the wall, legs still wrapped around him, he fought the urge to tear into her throat.

Dee moaned lightly as she continued to to kiss him. She broke away just long enough to pull off her top.

Seeing her bare flesh was beyond tempting to him. As he violently placed kisses across her chest his fangs begin to skim the surface of her skin. He didn't know if he could keep himself from biting her, but he didn't want to stop either.

He tossed her onto the bed, relieving her of her leggings in the same motion. Before she stopped bouncing he had pounced and skimmed his index finger just under the waistband of her panties.

Dita felt her breath quicken some as soon as she felt his fingertips along the skin under her waistband. It was then images flashed through her mind.

It was night. A tree. A chain wrapped around Juice's throat. Him jumping from a limb. Hanging and clearly dead...until someone or something came along and brought him back...changed him into something of folklore.

The images shocked her; she hadn't seen anything this powerful since she was little; most times she would see things of little importance: like when she would do a tattoo she'd occasionally pick up on idle thoughts like bitter divorces, drunken brawls from the night before. With burlesque, it was mostly infedelities and pervasions. She always had a gift to see the truth behind someone: to see secrets of the past or the future...but lately they were all mundane...until now.

Gently, she stopped his hand, "We should stop...I...I have to go." She sat up quickly to pull her clothes on.

If he'd had a heartbeat it would have been pounding in his ears. He sensed the shift in her, but couldn't pinpoint what had caused it. Even her smell had changed. Though, he agreed, they needed to stop he still had very little control and he wanted her. Without a single word, he went into his bathroom, shut the door, and locked it behind him.

He stared at the reflection in the mirror, it hadn't been in his since that night. Everything was the same; his eyes still the same color, his skin only slightly lighter, everything basically the same. Yet, everything was different, enhanced. Chibs couldn't stand to see him die, he understood why the old Scot had done it, it didn't mean he could forgive him.

Dita didn't want to leave him and certainly didn't want him to stop, but she didn't know what to feel after the vision. She sighed heavily and made her way out of the clubhouse and back to her studio to think.

She didn't return to the clubhouse until a few nights later to do a burlesque routine during one of their infamous parties. She hoped Juice would treat her as he normally would.

Juice felt like a caged tiger even though he had been sure to feed his fill knowing she'd be here. He stalked the shadows in the back of the room, eyeing her on the stage. He felt possessive of her, he didn't like feeling that way. He watched as Chibs flirted with one of the crow eaters. Now he completely understood why so many of the croweaters without family disappeared. A sly, knowing smile crept across the Scot's face when he locked eyes with Juice, but Juice was in no mood.

He scanned the crowd for Opie. The giant man was standing adjacent to stage, leaning against the wall, but he wans't watching Dita; he was eyeing the wild mop of red hair standing beside the stage wearing a look that just dared someone to touch her sister. He inwardly laughed, what the hell did she think she was going to do to stop one of them if they chose to touch?

Slowly, he snaked his way through the crowd, until he could stare straight into Dita's eyes from his place beside Opie.

Dita finished up her routine without flaws despite the looks she was receiving from Juice. She left the small stage and went off to shower and change into her silk bathrobe. At the time, Juice gave her access to his dorm, but she didn't think that would last much longer. She was thankful for the silence that she gained at that moment. The thoughts in main room were deafening tonight, especially her sister's.

She gazed in the mirror a little longer before re-doing her make-up; going for lighter, natural colors...not really her norm in public.

Pacing in the hall, Juice waited impatiently for Dita. He had been concerned Corrie was going to try to stop him, but Opie had distracted her for him. Somehow he felt as though she was truly dangerous. Hunger was starting to rise up in him, despite how much he'd fed. What was it about this woman? He growled to himself and slammed his back into the wall across from his door.

Dee came out, her hair pulled up in a bun. She was still in her robe and a pair of matching slippers, looking beat. Her eyes met Juice's, "Um...sorry...your room was the only one available..."

"I don't care that you used my room," he shoved his hands in his pocket to try to keep from touching her, "What happened the other night?"

He noted the change in her usual makeup, he liked it. Raising and eyebrow, he ran the back of his hand down her cheek.

Dita bit her bottom lip, feeling so naked to him, "It's complicated and crazy, J."

A sinister laugh escaped him, " Iknow all about crazy and complicated."

He leaned in and kissed her lips, enjoying her taste.

Dita kissed him back until the vision came back: Juice hanging. She pulled away, "You killed yourself...hung yourself with a chain."

Stepping back, shock clearly written on his face, he nodded.

"How? How did you know that?"
