Opie/Corrie After the Mayans

"Actually, your the first to touch me like this with resulting in accidental death," she shrugged, "Post traumatic stress is a real bitch."

She looked at him to see his reaction.

Cautiously he reached up to stroke her hair, "Is it odd that I find that a great honor?"

She sighed as he stroked her hair, "That feels so comfortin'. My mum used to stroke my hair when I was upset. No one sense has," she looked at him earnestly, "I don't know why you're the key, but tank you for bein it."

She still sat perfectly still.

Opie sighed as he continued stroking her hair, "What were your folks like?"

She tugged at her shirt, "My Da was never really interested in the cause, but if Mum was in it so was he. He was devoted to her. If he was a musician his songs would have been for her. If he was a painter, he'd paint her. He was amazing and, in the end, died protecting us both. My Mum was fierce. She loved nothing more than the cause. She shunned Uncle Philip for no other reason than she was told to, though it killed her. they were amazing."

She closed her eyes and felt the tingles in her scalp.

Opie nodded, "They must have been great parents. They did well with you."

Before she could stop herself she yanked away and stood, "they did great? I don't thimk leaving a shell of a person is great parenting."

Opie shook his head, "They loved you and despite what you think, you are not all flawed. Parts of you are still strong."

She shook her head, curls flopping every which way. She turned to stomp away.

Opie moved to be in front of her, "Damn it, Cor. Talk to me."

Corrie reacted the only way she knew how in her confused state; violently. she pushed at Opie with all she had. Talking about her parents and all that had happened to her was too much. Then Opie had to go and sayher parents had done well with her. She was so strung out on pain she could barely control herself. She beat on his chest with her fists and started to cry. Before she even knew what the hell was going on she was on her knees crying for her mother.

This was turning out to be the best night ever.

Opie let her have her moment: letting her belt it out. When she at last fell to the floor, he scooped her up, holding her tight to his chest as he stroked her hair, "That's it...let it out."

She'd crammed it all inside her for so long she didn't even know how to live anymore. Opie's sure arms around her should have made her feeli better, but again she was fighting just to let him hold her. She looked up at him, here eyes pleading, but even she didn't know what she was pleading for.

Opie looked down at her, "You can hit me, push me, and yell at me all you want. I'm not leaving you behind. Hate to disappoint you."

She looked at him and screamed, "I can't help it! I don't want to fight you , Opie. Damn it all to hell, I can't help it. "

She tried hard to not squirm against him. She looked at him and firmly spoke,"help me."

Without warning, Opie leaned down and pressed his lips firmly against hers.

Her body sent mixed messages. She kissed him back, but her hands seemed to have their own mind and continued trying to push him away. She was so confused.

He held her a little tighter as he continued the kiss.

She broke away from the kiss, crying harder feeling as though she was on the verge of a breakdown and weak was not something she handled well.
"I'm sorry, Opie," she said through her tears, "I don't know how to do this the way you want me to."

Opie shook his head, "Just...let me take control..." He leaned down and kissed her once more.

She sighed and silently nodded. "Do it."

Opie pressed her back against a wall, clasping her hands above her head with one hand while snaking the other down the middle of her chest. His lips were hot against her collarbone.

Corrie flexed her fingers from their place above her head. Opie's beard tickled her as he kissed her collar bone. She whimpered, threw her head back, and wrapped her legs around his waist. His sudden shift in demeanor was helping her allow him to touch her. she needed to be under his control.

Opie growled as he rubbed his groin hard into her as he kissed her neck.

Her face felt like it was bright red with the effort of staying still. She sighed into his hair, every nerve in her body screaming out so many different things. She wondered if it would be the same without all the panic fueled adrenaline in her body. She hissed when he rubbed against her. Her large green eyes snapping open and staring intensely into his.

"Opie, please," she breathed.
