Dee giggled, rubbing her stomach. She paused as the baby moved around in her. "What are we going to tell everyone? What if my sister isn't happy?"

He rubbed her belly, "She'll be fine. And who gives a damn what everyone thinks. I don't."

Dee frowned, "I care what Corrie thinks."

He caressed her cheek, "I know that. I meant everyone else. Corrie and Opie are our family. I care how they feel too."

Dee sighed, "I'm sorry...it must be hormones...and this is going so crazy fast..."

He kissed her nose, "Don't apologize. Since you weren't feeling up to looking, I went through ads online and have some houses on the laptop for you to look at."


He handed her his computer.

Dita smiled and moved to sit between his legs so she could rest against him. She skimmed through the listings until her eyes fell on a two story Victorian. It was love at first site. It wasn't too big or two small. Her eyes sparkled as she looked in awe.

"That one? I thought yo might like it. Do yo wwant to go take a tour or do you just want me to make the offer?"

Dee smiled, "Make an offer. I have a good feeling about it."

Two days later the house was their's. Proudly, Juice strolled into their room and handed her the keys.

Dee, who was still sporting off her pregnant belly, squealed in joy. "It's ours?!"

Proud as a pea ock, he smiled," yep. Ope said he would helpme move stuff right away."

He was beyond excited.

Dita pulled him into a hug, "I'm so excited"

He spent the next twenty four hours with Opie moving all the stuff they needed. As he talked to Opie he found out Corrie was having a really hard time coping with her sister being pregnant. She was.trying to force herself not to feel that way, but just before they found out she was already struggling with not being able to have babies. Now here was her sister immortal, not half insane, and still able to have.children. Opie was sure to stress how shitty Corrie felt for feeling that way. It definitly explained why Cor was rarely home.

Juice went to collect his wife and take her to their new home with a heavy heart. He knew.she would be able to read.what Opie said.

Dita was not her bubbly self that day: quiet and keeping to herself during the drive. When she got to the house, she wandered aimlessly around.

Juice knew what was bothering her," Your sister loves you. She.feels terrible about feeling the way she.does."

Dita frowned, "Is this a mistake?"

He held her close, "No baby. She is working theough stiff she.lost. it happens to us all when we first change. She loves you."

Dita felt tears stinging her eyes. "I don't feel like she does. She won't even look at me."

He thought for a moment, not sure if he was ready to share ths, "She doea. When you met me the reason I was living in my dorm was b.c the thought I was going to off myself...again. Because I couldn't take all the things I lost."

Dita frowned, taking his face in his hands, "W-what? Why? Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because you changed that. Corrie will get over it. Let her mourn her loss."

Dita nodded, still saddened. She felt drained and on empty.

"Come on," he held out his hand," lets go lie down for a bait. You look tired."

Dita nodded and followed him to their bedroom.
