Dita paused in the fight, knowing deep down Laurie had a point. He had been with her for years. She had his crow and he bragged on how he used to lavish her with gifts. All Dita was to everyone was a secret.
Finally, all Dita could do was walk away. Thankfully, someone left the gate open and she went unnoticed.
