Dita/Juice: No Strings

"Of course, babe," he flashed the smile only he possessed.

Dita rolled her eyes, "Don't babe me. I mean it. Please...just be careful." Her eyes said it all: she was scared to death of what would happen to him out there tonight. Hell, she was scared every time he went out to handle business. Even as just friends, she would be scared that something would happen to him.

He leaned down and pressed his lips urgently to hers, "I promise."

Dita nodded and kissed him back, "Love you." She murmured barely above a whisper.

"I love you too," he said loudly, proud to be saying it to her.

Dita kissed him once more before she watched him slip away with the guys. She followed Gemma and Tara outside and watched as Juice got on his bike and drove off in the third row. She bit her bottom lip and held Archie close to her as she watched the gate closed. Everyone was in the clubhouse had been quite a while as Dita continued to stand there and look in the direction the guys had taken.

Laurie got out of her car with her kids and sent them directly inside. She had caught sight of the whore who stole her man and she meant to inflict some suffering. Stomping across the parking lot she yelled, "Hey, bitchface, don't get too comfortable here. He's mine."

Dita looked at her in disgust, "Lay off, Laurie. You knew this was coming all along." She saw Ellie and Kenny by the playground and went over to them, not wanting them to listen to this whore's bullshit. She smiled softly, "Hey, could you all take Archie inside and keep tabs on him? If you want, you can take him to Uncle Juice's room. I got movies in there you can watch." She was releived to find how eager they were to go, toting Archie inside. Dita turned her attention back to Laurie, "Sweetheart, I just suggest you stay out of my way tonight and, well, for that matter for a long fucking time. I have little time or patience for your bullshit."

Dita shook her head, heading back toward the clubhouse, "You are delusional."

"I'm delusional? I'm not the one who thinks the man who kept me hidden actually loves me," Laurie put her hands on her hips.

Dita stopped in her tracks, turning around slowly, "Excuse me? What the hell are you talking about? Juice isn't hiding me. Just because he dumped your ass..."

"Oh, sweetheart, everyone knows you two have been sneaking around on and off. You don't take that long to stop sneaking if you're proud of who you're with. Once a whore in a storage closet, always a whore in a storage closet."

Dita shook her head, "No...you are wrong. Juice loves me...ME...he doesn't want you anymore, Laurie..." He voice was wavering some; matching her own assessment on the new relationship.

Laurie laughed at her, "Poor little girl full of delusions. How could he ever love you?"

Dita cut her eyes, "You are just a lying, jealous bitch!"

Laurie sauntered towards the clubhouse, "You tell yourself whatever you have to to be able to sleep at night, whore."

Dita shook her head, "You held Juice down and belittled him. Do you think he would continue putting up with that shit?"

Laurie stalked over to dita and ran a finger down the girl's cheek, "Honey, he likes his women confident. Do you think he could stay with someone who has so much self loathing?"

Dita slapped her hand away, "I don't know what the hell you are talking about."

"Oh no, always telling Juice you aren't good at your job, he doesn't know what he's talking about. Never allowing his compliments? Your ten pounds of dried up sad in a 5 pound bag."

Dita looked at her stunned. She did share her insecurities with one person besides Corrine and that was Juice. She shook her head, "H-He...he said that?"

"Juice doesn't suffer emo well, honey," Laurie headed back towards the club.

Dita grabbed her arm, "No...you are lying...he wouldn't have done that..."

"Oh, I don't know about that Juice. Things never go my way, Juice. I'm used to it ,Juice," she yanked her arm away from Dita.
