Opie blew out a breath of relief, "Yes...god, I'm sorry...I'm so jumpy when it comes to you, love." He kissed her neck, "Only if you are ready."

They made their way into the quiet clubhouse, Opie hiding her behind his back protectively. When they reached Chibs dorm, they didn't bother to knock, they just came in/.

Chibs was facing a nearby window, hands folded in his lap. He could smell her, "Came to convince me to overrule my decision?"

She had always loved Chibs, she made her way to him, got on her knees, and put her head in his lap. She saw the horror on Opie's face.
"I can feed on humans now. If you don't believe me the rip my head off. I love you and trust your judgment."
She grabbed his hands and rested them on her hair.

Chibs sighed, "I need your word, Corrine. Your actions could make or break us."

She looked up at him, "I promise you, Chibs. All I want is to be left in peace with Opie."

Chibs looked her in the eyes, "I trust ya, lass. Don't disappoint me."

One night, a few weeks later as Corrie was walking through the forest alone, she heard twigs snapping behind her. Putting her nose the the air she inhaled deeply. Someone was following her. She stopped in her tracks. Just as she spun around a body hit her, hard, pinning her to the ground. A viel of long, dark brown hair fell around her. She'd seen pictures of this woman in Opie's dorm. In her mind she open a link to Opie letting him see exactly what was happenening.
"You listen to me, bitch, Opie is mine. He has always been mine," she growled just before she bit Corrie and drained her to the point that she was little more than an unmoving corpse.

Opie sensed something was not right and linked his mind to hers. He was shocked to see Donna's evil sneer as she loomed over a weak Corrie. Frantic, he took off into the woods finding her in a matter of seconds. "Come in, we got to find you someone to feed from."

Corrie felt delirious, "Donna, how?"
She.rubbed her neck. Someone was outside, someone human. Before she could stop herself she was on them. Pushing back the visions of Opie. When she let the body drop, she saw Imma.
"Shit. What was she doing here?"

Opie sighed, "Well...I never liked that whore..."

The realization of what just happened sanl in.
"You thought Donna was dead. It is why you did what you did in stockton. Why isn't she dead?"her eyes grew wide,"She is right, you have always been hers."

Corrie turned and ran. She ran harder than she ever had, mentally pushing him so he couldn't follow. After a few days she found herself on a plane to Romania. Bacl to the vampires who had slaughtered so many of her kind. She had an advantage the hadn't possessed, she could drink human blood. They wouldn't see her coming.

Opie sat across the table from Chibs and Juice, completely lost. His spirit, body, and mind ached for Corrie, but she had blocked him out. He was so lost.

Among the Romanian vampires Corrie was considered a goddess. They were amazed by all her power. She missed Opie, every feeding ripped at her heart. For just a moment she reached across their link to check on him. As she did, Donna and a few of the Romanians came up behind her They grabbed her and tied her up with silver chaims. Fear shot through her, making her forget to close the link to Opie.

Behind her, Donna laughed," They know what you are now, darling Corrine."

It was then at the meeting with Chibs and Juice when he got the images of his Corrie being tortured. Horror filled his face, "No! No!" He projected the images to the men, "We have to go..."

Donna had hung her from the chains on her wrists from a hook in the ceiling. They had taken turns feeding from her as a punishment for her feeding on Opie. Using silver knives they'd cut her repeatedly, sometimes letting her blood drip into cups. She was weak, her eyes barely open. Donna pace the floor in front of Corrie, laughing as she stabbed her repeatedly with silver. Corrie thought about Opie she thought he'd sent Donna to do his dirty work.

It didn't take Opie long to get to Romania and find Corrie. He got to the castle, barging in and right to Donna, "Where is she?!"

"She was stealing my husband," she leaned.into Opie, "I killed her."

She lied effortlessly, wanting to see his reaction. All these years she'd watched him, knowing she couldn't be with him when he was human. We he became a.vampire Chibs told her sire.to keep her away. Then that red headed bitch came along and he changed her. She was livid.

Opie glowered, "We. We are nothing. You aren't my wife. My wife is dead and buried. My wife was a kind and gentle woman. Not a monster. Now...where is Corrie!?!"

She grabbed him by the hand and.pulled him to the room where Corrie was hanging, silver knives stuck in her here and there. She disn't stir.

Donna.swung her, "She is in my way."

Opie looked at Corrie in shock...then the rage took over. In a flash, he had Donna by the throat against the wall.

Donna laughed at him, "You can't kill me. My death killed you."

Corrie moaned, blood running down her arms from the silver.

Without a single word, Opie ripped her head off. He threw it to the side and ran to Corrie, carefully removing the silver. Once he was done, he laid her gently on the ground, cut a thin wound into his arm and forced her to drink.

It was.like a nightmare. She woke to Opie's arm.in her mouth, he tasted so good. She struggled and fought against him.

Opie held her tight, "Stop fighting me! You need this."
