"Oh jesus...." Dita knew what happened next and knew the ramaficationa. "How much? How much did you drink?"

She cringed, "Too much. way too much."

It was like her nerves were raw.

Dita shook her head, "Oh Cor...fuck, call him back....you need to stay near him until this shit dies down a bit."

She shook her head, "Np I can do this."

She rose and went into her large shower.

Dita, respecting her sister's privacy, sent her a little mental message.

"Call him or help me god I will do it for you Corrine. This is serious. You need him here."

She sent a message back as she watched the blood swirl down the drain as she sat, hugging herself, on the floor of the shower.

No!

"CORRINE. You NEED to. You know our kind can DIE from this. Do it. If you won't, I'll call him. I'm begging you. I've already lost two people I love...I can't do three."

Trying with all her might not to think of their parents, she threw up her walls. She had never done that to her sister before. She would not beg Opie to come back here. She let the hot water rush over her. When the water finally ran cold, she out out, toweled off and pulled a simple cotton dress over her head. Unable to take it anymore, she curled up in a ball on her bed and hugged her knees.

Opie wasted no time coming for her. He came shortly after getting Dee's worried text. He nervously knocked on her bedroom door, waiting for her to answer.

Corrie could feel Opie outside her door. It was so strange. Faintly, she whispered,"Come in," knowing he would be able to hear her. the pain was too much.

Opie came in, closing the door behind him, "You can yell and carry on all you want. I'm staying with you." He came over and laid down next to her, "You should have told me, Cor."

Without her permission her body snaked around his, touching him at every point it could. Sighing as the relief flooded her. He smelled of leather and something sweet and earthy. She was all but in his lap.

"I didn't realize how much I drank until after I told you to go," her fingers traced his mouth, "This feeling is so strange."

Then it hit her like a cast iron skillet to the head, the urge to let him, no do anything possible to make him, drink from her. It was all she wanted in the world in that moment. It was like a fire consuming her. She allowed her fingers to skim his fangs, teasing him, knowing he'd be able to feel the blood pulsing just below the surface.

Opie's jaw tightened, "Absolutely not. No."

Her mind watched her actions in horror; she couldn't stop herself. Whatever his blood had done to her, she absolutely had no control around him. Quietly pulling a thumbtack from the wall, she pricked her own finger then smeared the blood on his lips. Inside her mind was screaming and begging for her to stop, but again she couldn't as she let her bleeding finger come in contact with his fangs.

Ope pushed her arm away, his face angry, "NO. Stop it Corrie! Do you want to die?!"

Her eyes glazed over as she ran the thumbtack over the soft flesh of her neck, several times, and pushed the bleeding flesh to his mouth and held him in place with her powers.

Opie groaned and tried fighting back with little success until he hand no choice but to jerk away. Before she could even blink, he was in the corner of the room.

Tears streamed down Corrie's face as her body lead her to the bathroom. There she saw her mother, watching her, weeping.

Like she was watching a movie, she saw herself break the mirror, pick up a piece of the broken glass, pull opie it her with her power while also slamming shut the bathroom door and moving her armoire against it, then slit her own wrist with the glass. Inside she was weeping and screaming. Outside she was using her powers like she didn't even know she could.

She forced Opie to his knees, his face defiant, and held him in place. Blood rand down her arm and dripped on the floor. Again using her power, she forced his mouth open with little effort. Holding her wrist in his mouth and letting the blood drip in, she forced his mouth shut, driving his fangs into her tender flesh.

Opie had no choice but to drink at this point. His craving consumed him.

The tears flowed as Opie drank. Knowing he could hear her thoughts she dropped her wall and let him feel all her regret and spoke into his head, "Ope, I'm sorry, I can't stop, I'm sorry."

Her powers held his head in place as he drank. Corrie sank to her knees, leaning against him as she became weaker. Finally, as her heart slowed to a stop, she regained control, released him, and whispered an apology.

Opie felt betrayed. Without words, he cut his arm again and made her drink.

Despite Opie's attempt to get her to drink, Corrie lay motionless on the floor. Her heart still without a beat.

The ghost of her mother floated around Opie, willing him to get it and change her.

Opie was frantic, "Cor...come on, Cor...." He knew there was no choice. He had to change her. He went back to drinking.

When Ope finally drained her and allowed the blood to drip into her mouth, her eyes snapped open and she latched on to his arm with all the strength of a newborn vampire.

Opie looked at her in awe, "Corrine?"
