A moth to a flame: Juice and Dita

Tig grumbled as he opened the door and went inside. He got ready to take his gun holster off and paused, "Maybe I should leave this on?"

Gemma leaned against him and kissed his lips, "I love a man with a gun."

Tig smirked, kissing her gently, "You definitely are my better half...now, excuse me. I have a boy to kill." He went to the foot of the stairs, "Corrine! Ortiz! Downstairs!"

Corrie knew she was.walking into a shit storm, "God damn it, Juice. You better be worth the verbal rape we are about to receive."

Juice was speechless, though he liked the girl.

They both sat down on the.couch.

Tig sat down across from Juice, glaring. "You have some nerve. Do you know what you put my daughter through? She's been locked away in this house: crying at a drop of a hat, not eating, not sleeping, wondering what she did wrong..."

Juice sighed,"Look, I didn't mean for her to take it that way. I'd been having nightmares about a girl who fell through the floor of a burning house before I could save her. I deserve everything you say."

Corrie looked at her dad, "Daddy, stop being a douche."

Tig gave his daughter a look, "Corrine, don't make me take your phone and computer away." He looked back at Juice, "I get it...I have nightmares all the time, but I can't push the people I love away. You say you love my little girl. Do you really or are you just infatuated?"

"I do love her. I wasn't trying to push her away. As soon as I found out where she disappeared to I put everything on hold and came here."

Corrie glared at Tig.

Tig remained quiet for a few beats, "What are your intentions?"

Corrie rolled her eyes.

Juice spoke softly, "To take care of her...Always."

Tig nodded, "....hurt her again and you are dead."

Juice nodded.


"Stop being so dramatic."

Tig glared at Corrie then sighed, "Well, do need some place to stay while you are here?"

"I was going to stay with my sister, but when I told Dee that she flipped," he sighed, "Now I don't know what to do."

Corrie looked at Tig, " Let him stay, Daddy."

Tig sighed, "Okay. You can stay in our guest room."

Corrie showed Juice the guest room and smiled.
"You know, Daddy must like you. He doesn't let boys stay over. Ever."

Juice smiled back then went into the room to pull out his laptop and check his emails.

Dee woke up from her nap a few hours later. She took a hot shower and fresh pair of pajamas before leaving her room. She was surprised to see Juice in the guest room across from hers. She went over, quietly knocking on the doorframe. "Hi."

His head snapped up when he heard the.light knock. Her hair was still wet and the unmistakable look of surprise was.on her face.
"Yea, I know, I was surprised too."

Dita blushed, looking down, "No...I'm surprised that you're actually here."

His brow furrowed, "I didn't want you to go."

Dee looked down, "J...you can do do much better than me."

Juice quickly crossed the distance between then and yanked her against his chest. Tears rolled down his cheeks as he was overwhelmed by her scent.

"I want you, only you, forever."

Dee cried into chest, "I just thought I did something wrong."

He stroked her hair, "I promise you I will never do that again. You're my world."

Dita kissed him gently, "I'm sorry, baby."
