She shook her head, "No, I liked it like Daddy likes it," she shivered, "I'd do it again and I'd be more ruthless next time."

Opie looked at, surprised but not disgusted. How could he be disgusted? He did kills for a living. He sighed, "Cor...it ain't like that all the time."

"Have you met my father? I'm pretty sure it is like that for him all of the time," She looked into his eyes, "i could be like him. He is my father. I've never really thought about it, but I've watched him kill my whole life and it's never bothered me."

During the course of the conversation they had laid down in bed. Corrie rolled on her side and scooted her back up to his front. Grabbing his hands, she wrapped his arms around her for the sureness of it.

Opie rubbed her belly, kissing the back of her neck, "I love you. So much."

She smiled and freed her hair from the pins that bound it. Instead of the tight curls normally present in her hair, longer loose curls fell around her. Even though she was still figuring this out with Opie she was sure of his love.

"I'm sorry I made you worry."

Opie rubbed her belly lovingly, "Just don't make a habit of it, okay?"

Three Months later

Snow was falling fast and heavy over Chicago, winter never really wanted to give up his hold. Corrie was due any day, people had begun treating her like a piece of glass weeks before, even the men. On one hand it was adorable that even the big bad mobsters were holding doors and getting her stuff, on the other it was the most annoying thing in the world. Opie was the worst. Donna had almost died during the delivery of their first child, it seemed her experiences always colored how Opie treated Corrie. She sighed and rubbed her very large belly.

Though she knew Ope would be mad, she wanted to see the snow. She wrapped a blanket around her and stood on the porch watching it drift slowly and silently to the ground.

Opie came out, wrapping his arms around her protectively, "It's cold out...you really should be inside by the fire."

"I was hot. I'm just really uncomfortable today," she leaned back into him, "the snow.is beautiful."

Opie smiled softly, "Yeah, it is...just like you."

She turned to face him, keeping her large belly to one side. Her eyes looked tired and her face drawn. Still he made her smile.

"You say the most amazing things, Mr.Winston," she sighed, "If I go back inside will you rub my lower back? It hurts."

Opie smiled, "You bet. Come on, let's go inside and relax."

Corrie went inside and sat on the floor not far from the fireplace. Letting Opie sit behind her and rub her back she relaxed some. As they sat, the wind and snow picked up, things seemed to be whipping up into a blizzard. She smiled and thought it would be a bad day for the baby to come because the midwife probably wouldn't be able to make it and Ope would be the only one left, besides Chibs, with any experience and she was sure he wasn't going to let Chibs down there to deliver the baby.
Just as the thought passed she felt a shocking pain, though she had been in pain all day she hadn't told anyone because it wasn't hard to deal with. This, however, was enough to double her over.

Opie sat up, startled, "What? WHAT'S WRONG?" He was immediately in a panic.

Breathing through t, she spoke through clenched teeth, "It's just a contraction, Opie."

Opie looked at her in horror, "W-w-what!? You are having the baby now?!" He began to freak out, "Where's Chibs? CHIBS!?!"

She shook her head, "I've been in labor all day, I just didn't want to say anything. Opie, you have to do this. The baby is coming NOW."

She cried out in pain.

Opie nodded, clearly panicking, "Okay...okay...how?"

Her eyes widened, "I don't know! Haven't you been there when your children were born?"

Another contraction hit her.

Opie frowned, "Yeah...I mean, can try. Okay, we have to get you upstairs and get some hot water and blankets." He gently lifted her up and lead her to the stairs.

She'd been in hard labor for hours. The sweat matted her hair to her forehead and Chibs had finally made an appearance. Opie pacing nervously was not helping her. Grunting, she looked to Chibs and waited for him to tell her to push.

"Ok, lass, I can see the wee ginger head," he smiled, "I want you to push as hard as you can."

Corrie nodded and pushed through the next three contractions. The pain was unbelievable, she wondered why anyone wanted to do this more than once. As the baby finally slid out, Chibs face changed completely. She felt the tears sting her eyes and watched as Opie, too, grew concerned. There was no crying.

Chibs knew he had to get the baby breathing. Opie wouldn't make it through losing another child. He unwrapped the cord from the baby's neck and immediately breathed into it's mouth. To unclog the baby's aor ways, he sucked out the fluids using his own mouth. Spitting the fluids on the floor, he breathed into the baby's mouth again. When the cry rang out he felt all the tension drain from his body. Quickly he grabbed a blanket and wrapped the baby up.

"It's a wee boy," Chibs smiled and handed the red headed baby to Opie.

Opie gingerly took the baby in his arms, looking at him in awe as tears streamed down his face, "Cor....he's perfect; so beautiful..."

Exhaustion swept over her as she took the baby. She knew he'd need fed and so she held him close and stroked his hair as he ate. Chibs changed the sheets on the bed, rolling her and tucking and pulling the sheets when necessary. Wanting to give him a good, strong, Irish name, she examined his face and thought.

"I want to name him Sean."

Opie grinned, stroking Sean's hair gently, "Perfect. I love it."

Without a word she handed Opie the baby. Snugling down into the bed, she fell asleep
