Opie relished her lips, but remained in a daze, "I lost control and for that I'm sorry...you were so late...I just panicked. I didn't want more bloodshed on my hands, especially not yours."

Her heart broke for this giant of a man. It was hard to see him this way. He was usually so hard and beyond emotion. She cradled his head and rocked him singing am Irish song her mother had sung to her many times before.

Opie pulled her close to him, relishing her scent as he did so. He gently sobbed against her soft neck.

The night his family had been killed, Corrie was still at the Teller house polishing the silver. She remembered vividly Jax and Carlos carrying him in the house. He was howling like a wounded animal. As he sobbed into her neck, she wondered how much of that animal was still in him.

Before long, she was on the floor with him, standing on her knees, so she could hold him tighter.

"Opie, hush, it will be ok," without thinking, just knowing she needed to comfort the man as much as she needed to breathe, she gently place her lips on his.

Opie knew it was wrong, morally wrong, but he was a man of few morals. He pulled her against him, crushing his lips to hers as he pressed her middle against his pelvis; not hiding his need.

She flushed feeling him pressed against her. Never had she thought it would be like this the first time, all frantic emotions and desperate need of another. Still, she didn't have it in her to tell him no. He had been through so much and been so alone. Looking up at him through her lashes she whispered, "Unzip my dress."

Opie didn't waste time with questioning, unzipping the dress frantic with lust. He stripped her completely before carrying her up to his bedroom to lay her down on his bed. The room was clean; untouched. He typically slept in the chair in his study.

As he gently laid her on the bed, she felt completely exposed. She noticed the room was clean, that his wife's hair brush still lay on the bedside table. The thought saddened her heart. She watched as he stripped of his clothes, every nerve in her body on fire. Though the night was balmy she shivered in his bed. She was sure the thought hadn't crossed his mind that she was a virgin. Hell, she was only nineteen. She didn't want him to think about it because she didn't want him to stop.

As he came close, she could feel the need rolling off of him. She reached out for him, her hands shaking.

Opie brought her hands to his lips, kissing them gently. He knew this was her first time, "Relax, okay?" Gently, he crawled on top of her and eased himself inside her.

As he gently entered her she gasped. She didn't expect the pain. Reflexively, her hands found his lower back, biting into the flesh there. As he continued to move the pain subsided. She arched her back in the bed, making noises that she didn't even know she could make. Every time he got close enough she possessively kissed his mouth.

Opie nipped at her neck as he thrusters into her; his fingers gripping into her naked hips.

She knew she would have bruises where he gripped her, but the pain felt surprisingly good. She could see the wounded animal in his eyes. Cupping his face with her hands, she forced him to look at her. There was fear in his eyes.
"Opie, I'm not going anywhere. Let it go."

She bit his chest, lightly as she cried out and the world exploded around her.

Opie crushed his lips against hers as he finally let go.

She woke with Opie tangled up in her. it was still night as she lie naked in his arms,

Opie held her close, kissing her hair as he gazed out at the moon shining through a nearby window. He smiled as he saw her wake up, "Hi beautiful."

She felt so confused by all of this. Her hips were sore so she sat up to see if she did, in fact, have bruises. There were prefect imprints of his fingers in black and blue mars. She smiled lightly as she looked at them feeling like he had marked her as his. She didn't know how to deal with this.

"Opie, what are we doing here?"

Opie smiled softly, "Hopefully starting a life together. You are free from Jax now, meaning we can pursue anything now..."

She smiled and snuggled against him, drifting off to sleep in his arms.




The next day she tackled that house. It was just a huge mess. She managed to find and clean all the dishes. She gathered all his clothes into the washroom. Then set about tidying things. She found a small pair of women's slippers and a book, she out both away. When Opie came home she was making dinner.

Opie saw the clean room and felt relief until he noticed Donna's slippers and book was missing. He felt panic overcome him, "Corrine?!"

She came out and saw the panic in his eyes. Rushing to him she took his hand and he yanked it away form her. Hurt, she asked him, "Opie, what is it?"

Opie scrubbed his face, "Donna's things...where are they? I left them exactly where she left them."

Corrie could see his panic. Quickly, she grabbed the book from the shelf and her slippers from the.closet an put them back exactly as they were. The thought that he was nowhere near ready for whatever was going on between them cut her deeply.
Over her shoulder as she made her way back to the kitchen she spoke, "I think I should start sleeping in the maid's quarters. Slow whatever this is down."

Opie nodded reluctantly, "Yes, I suppose that would be for the best."

After three months she had started sleeping in his bed with him again. She has been keeping ahuge secret from him and she felt guilty. The first and only time they'd had sex she had gotten pregnant. She was careful not to wear formfitting clothes. When she heard a nock it startled her.

Jax pushed passed her," How far along are you?" He could see the glow in her cheek and the roundness of her belly.
She looked down,"Three months."

He shooke his head, a gentleness spreading over his face," I have to tell your parents so they can get you outof here. The leader of the gang that killed donna and thekids vowedto me hewould kill any family Opie ever has. It's why I have to kill him."

"I won't leave him, Jax."

Jax turned to leave, "it's your funeral, Cor."

Anxiously she waited for Opie. She hand changed into a dress the showed her obvious roundness. She had to tell him, but not what Jax said. She waited for him at the door, swinging it wide as he came up on the porch.

Opie's smile faltered when he saw her, "What the hell....you can't stay here...you will die..."
