AU Backdarft corrie

She rubbed het belly and smiled. The doctor had told her the genders that day. It was corrie's present for him.
"Your two sons and daughter are fine."

Opie looked at her with surprise. His eyes were full of tears of joy, "R-really...?"

She nodded and dropped another bomb, "I want to have them here. If we go home we'll be hounded by the press. I don't need that stress. We can fly everyone out when they are born. We can fly Dita and the kids out right before so she can be here."

Opie smiled, kissing her cheek, "That sounds like a perfect idea."

She pulled him down to her, deepening the kiss, tears stinging her eyes, "It's like our life didn't start until we got here."

Opie nuzzled her neck, "We could stay..."

She nuzzled him back, "I'd like that for now."

Opie nodded, "As you wish. I love you."

She snuggled with him by the tree later that night. She stared at all the beauty around her. It was so overwhelming sometimes.

Opie kissed her temple tenderly, "I really love this place. It's so magical."

She blushed, "It wouldn't be without you."

Opie smiled, "Nah, it's clearly you, sweetheart."

"If we're going to stay here for a while shouldn't we turn one of these rooms into a nursery?" she rubbed her belly feeling pieces of each baby move against her hand.

Opie grinned, "That our we can get a bigger place."

"You want to look for a new place....in Paris....."she loved this overwhelming man.

Opie grinned, pressing his forehead to hers. "Sure. It's time for a change and this place has certainly outgrown us."

The next few weeks were a whirlwind. They house hunted. At first they looked at actual houses, but most of them were too far from downtown for opie's tastes. Nest they started looking at apartments. The real estate agent showed them all manner of too small apartments before Opie assured her he could afford any place in the city.

Eventually the found one they loved.

It was two stories and had 5 bedrooms each with its own bathrrom, more than enough for them to have company whenever they wanted.

It took them about a week to move in.

Corrie stood in the empty room that was to be the nursery for the triplets. At six months pregnant with Triplets she was hugely round. She was tired all the time, but it was completely worth it. Every time she saw that boyish look on Opie's face her heart melted.

She rubbed her belly and imagined what the room would look like.

Opie smiled and looked around, "I can't wait till the cribs get here. What do you think?"

She sighed, feeling the pressure from the babies moving, "I love it," she turned to face him, "You take care of me so well."

Opie chuckled, "That's my job, love."

Once the crib arrived, she was eight months and being warned she wouldn't make it much farther. Dita had arrived in Paris earlier that day. Opie was bring her, Juice, the boys, and Trini back from the airport. Corrie couldn't go with him b.c it was no longer comfortable for her to walk long distances. While he was gone, she finished the nursery. She was ready for these babies.

Dita ran in with Trini and the boys in tow, findind her sister in the nursery, "Corrie!"

"Dee!!" she waddled to her sister, throwing her arms around her, "I missed you!"

She gave Trini and the boys hugs, "God, look at them they've grown so much."

She was sad, it was reminding her of all she would miss living in Paris.

"Isn't this place amazing?"

Dita looked around, "It's beautiful. I see the birds arrived safely." She took her sister in and smiled, "You look great. It's like you are glowing."

she laughed, "That's probably just the sweat. I have to tell you something."
She felt terribly guilty.
