AU Backdarft corrie

She clutched Opie and cried tears of happiness, "Oh thank god. I was so worried."

SHe leaned up and kissed him through her tears.

Opie nodded, "Me too...Cor, I want Pop to come live with us."

Her eyes widened, "Opie," she put her hand over his heart, "I would love that. Have you asked him?"

Opie shook his head, "I wanted to consult you first."

"Baby, yes. He is trying so hard to show you he loves you. I can't imagine telling you no."

She listened to the steady rhythm of his heart.

"He really wants to see his girl Corrie."

"I'll go see him later today. "

She put one of her hands on his lower back.

Opie cuddled her close, kissing her neck, "I'm sorry I left you with that crazy bitch."

"It's.ok. Your dad, he told me what she did to you," she looked down

Opie's face slightly hardened at the memory, "She wasn't exactly mother of the year material."

Concern was painted on her face. She didn't want to tell him that she felt like he must not trust her because he didn't tell her, but she knew that was not an issue she needed to make about her. Still, she needed to know why he didn't tell her.

"Why didn't you tell me what she did to you?"

Opie felt tears prickle his eyes, "I don't know...shame? It's painful to relive those days."

The tears in his eyes tugged at her. Without saying a thing, she took his large hand and.placed it over her heart.

Opie held her close to him, finally breaking down and sobbing, "God, Cor...the things she would say and do...she detested me."

She held him to her tightly, "Shh, baby, shhh. It wasn't your fault. Baby you couldn't have kept your brother alive, no one could have. She is heartless."

She wiped his tears with her thumbs and kissed him gently on the mouth.

Opie kissed her back with urgency, gently lying her back on the nursery floor.

Wrapping her arms around his neck, she sucked his bottom lip into her mouth. When she released it, she leveled her gaze at him, desire burning in her eyes.

Opie looked in her eyes for a few seconds, enchanted by her. He gently played with loose strands of her hair. "I love you."

Pulling his face down to her lips, she tenderly kissed him. They were slow, deep, loving kisses. Trying to show him her love through her lips she repeated the kiss twice.

"I love you, too."

Opie leaned down, kissing her neck and collarbone, "Do you realize how amazing you are, Corrine?"

She shook her head, her cheeks as red as her hair.

Opie chuckled, "Silly girl, you are cutting yourself short." He leaned back in capturing her lips with his.

She moaned quietly, unable to stop herself. She loved the way his lips felt on hers. After everything Opie had said, she wanted to say something amazing to him, but his green eyes left her dumbfounded

His hands trailed up her thighs as he gently nipped at her neck; relishing the way her skin tasted.

Her eyes darted to the cribs on the other side of the room, all three were asleep. She sighed as she let her hand rest on top of his trailing hand. The roughness of his skin excited her. She wanted him.
